Concept design including layout development, material palette and 3D visualisation for a private home in Cornwall.
The goal of this project was to create a versatile space for both adults and children, fostering an environment where relaxation, play, and social interaction can coexist seamlessly. The atmosphere was designed to feel cozy, warm, and inviting, with an appeal that suits all ages.
The project started with a blank canvas, which made the process especially exciting as the design vision gradually came to life. The client, a young family with a baby and a toddler, wanted a space that could comfortably serve both adults and children. The main challenge was to create an environment that felt relaxing, cozy, and well-organised, while remaining practical for everyday family life and still looking neat and visually appealing.
The final design achieves a balance between playfulness and functionality, resulting in a space that can be enjoyed by everyone without compromising on comfort, order, or style.
