The design explores a fusion of contemporary style with subtle industrial influences. Clean lines and restrained forms establish a modern, timeless atmosphere, while raw materials, metal accents, black details, and textured finishes introduce depth, contrast, and character. The result is a balanced interior that feels both refined and relaxed.
The client’s brief called for a contemporary home that would also reflect its Cornish setting. The palette is built around soft neutral tones inspired by the coastal landscape, complemented by darker elements and carefully placed accents to create warmth and visual interest without overpowering the space.
Designed for family life, the material selection prioritises durability without compromising on aesthetics. Robust finishes, textured surfaces, and deeper colours were chosen to ensure practicality and longevity, creating an interior that remains elegant while supporting everyday use.
